Occupational health and safety helps to reduce the number of accidents and injuries at workplace, the overall purpose of OHSAS 18001 standards is that the organization creates and safe and healthful place of work for the employees.

OHSAS 18001 standards implementation helps to improve health & safety at all levels of a business organization, it helps to reduce the incidence of accidents, occupational diseases, it minimize the operation cost by prevention of accidents , incdents and ill health .
